Tile Talk Tuesday

Tile Talk Tuesday is a guided learning session designed for anyone who wants to understand the fundamentals of American Mahjong. Players sit at an instructor-led table where they can handle real tiles, learn how to read and use the National Mah Jongg League card, and walk through the mechanics of the game step by step. The focus is on building confidence: identifying suits and numbers, recognizing patterns, understanding exposures, and practicing turn order. Each session blends explanation with hands-on play so guests can learn at their own pace in a supportive environment. All materials are provided, and no experience is required.
